2024 Sun Valley Devo Programs:

New for 2024: High School Race Travel Team Program | $1300

This program will be tailored to HS-age riders who are focusing on UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) races and US Nationals. Riders will be expected to adhere to a training plan and participate in three practices per week. Racing experience, solid MTB skills, and dedication to the sport are required.

  • Racing is expected for members of this group

  • SV Devo race kit required (click for Hyperthreads store)

  • Three (3) days/week of structured practices April-July

  • Semi-custom training plan for each rider

  • Race support at UCI races and US Nationals

  • Team Sweatshirt, T-shirt, and water bottle included in price "SV DEVO will order these. Do not order riders t-shirts or sweatshirts on Hyperthreads unless you want more than one.”

Schedule of events: 

April - Base Build Phase - road and gravel rides to build a base (goal is 500 miles)
May - Specialized Phase - fine-tune mountain bike single track and skill development - preparation for racing
June /July - Race Phase - continue high levels of training with a focus on UCI/USA Cycling race event preparation

High School NICA Prep Program | $1300

This program is a development-focused junior MTB team for 13-18 year-olds (High School) who want to improve their technical abilities and fitness on the bike. Focus will be on building a solid aerobic base for the Fall NICA season. A strong foundation for mountainbiking is required.

Extra opportunities:

  • Please review the calendar for tentative races. We do not require race participation for this program

  • If your child is participating in any race with the team, they are required to have an SV Devo race kit

  • Camps are open to riders who have demonstrated dedication and commitment to the team. These camps are designed to hone racing and endurance skills at a competitive level. (NICA JV1 or Varsity) Additional cost for camps is TBD

Middle School Springtime Fun Devo Program | $500 *Program Full

This program will focus on FUN for 6th-8th grade middle school riders. We’ll break into smaller groups based on age, ability level, endurance, and motivation/style of riding. As stated, our main priority with this group is to have fun and to encourage the kids to work on basic skills to further enhance their abilities. MS Head coach Matt Wilson

  • Twice per week Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM 

  • Program dates are now May 8 through the week of June 26.  

  • Coaching and mentorship in a social, fun, and supportive cycling team environment

  • Option to purchase a Sun Valley Devo team kit

  • Team Sweatshirt, T-shirt, and water bottle included in price "SV DEVO will order these, do not order rider's t-shirts or sweatshirts on Hyperthreads unless you want more than one.”

  • Team capped at 30 riders
